631 Vehicles Take Emission Test in North Jakarta for Free

North Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-agency noted that 631 vehicles had taken free emission tests in early January.

This activity aims to improve air quality in Jakarta

North Jakarta LH Sub-agency's Monitoring and Control of Environmental Impact and Cleanliness Section Head, Suparman stated, 631 vehicles that took emission tests consisted of 388 cars and 243 motorcycles. Emission test was carried out at Pluit Reservoir Park on Monday (1/18) and at North Jakarta LH Sub-agency office's yard on January 12, 13, 14, and 20.

"This free emission test will continue until today, as well as on January 26, 27, and 28 at North Jakarta LH office's yard. This activity aims to improve air quality in Jakarta as a part of Jakarta Blue Sky Program," he explained, Thursday (1/21).

According to him, this free emission test was carried out in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 66/2020 on Motor Vehicle Emission Testing.

People who want to take emission test can download e-Uji Emisi app and visit North Jakarta LH Sub-agency office's yard at 8:00-12:00.

"There are 2 types of emission tests provided based on vehicles' fuel, namely gasoline and diesel," he closed.
